AAC is the most economic all bare overhead conductor due to its lighter weight .It offers easier handling during installatio n and used of simpler fittings . The wire is corros ion resistant due to its homogeneous construction .

AAAC Aluminum Alloy Conductor is Used as bare overhead conductor for primary and secondary distribution. Designed utilizing a high-strength aluminum alloy to achieve a high strength-to-weight ratio; affords better sag characteristics. Aluminum alloy gives higher resistance to corrosion than ACSR.

Simple construction, convenient installation, easy maintenance , lower cost, larger transmission capacity, it is applicable to special geographic condition such as river, valley , mountain etc. Antiseptic ACSR has good antiseptic feature, it is applied to coast area, salt sand area for ultra-high voltage, distribution transmission line. Antiseptic ACSR can be customize to put antiseptic materials among layers as customer's expected.

AACSR is a concentrically stranded conductor composed of one or more layers of 6201 -T81 aluminum alloy wire stranded with a high-strength coated steel core. The core may be single wire or stranded depending on the size.  The proportions of aluminum alloy and steel can be varied to obtain the relation between currentcarrying capacity and mechanical strength best suited to each application. Core wire for AACSR is available with Class A, B or C galvanizing; "aluminized" aluminum coated (AZ): or aluminum clad (AW). Additional corrosion protection is available through the application of grease to the core or infusion of the complete cable with grease.
